Well I was a busy beaver on Friday. I threw together 4 placemats, 2 for my SIL's kids and one more for mine plus one to sell. It felt good getting some sewing done. I have a tonne of exciting projects in the planning stages too.

Here is a picture of the kids enjoying the placemats.

And two of the others I have done. I have also made a mermaid one and 3 halloween ones :D.

This is something I made a while ago, but forgot to add. It's a travel/placemat chalkboard. The only change I need to make is a longer tie. They are fantastic. I love how easy chalk is to clean compared to crayons. My kids love it too. I am actually going to whip up about 6 more of them today, and I'll post pictures when those are done too. Here is the first prototype. I have to add I never work from patterns, except for the nappy bag LOL. Pattern directions confuse me.

I have to add a sling I made as a favor to an online friend. This cotton twill is uber soft. I am glad I have more, because I am going to make one just like it for me.

Here is another custom order bag. This one was interesting to work with since the decorater fabric was so light weight. Thank goodness for interfacing.

This is my version of the Amy Butler Nappy Bag. I love how huge this is, it really works well for carring all the stuff needed with 4 kids, soon to be 5. I plan on eventually making a mini version as a purse.

Here is a bag that I made as prize in raffel for a little boy who is dying of cancer.

Well morning or rather all day into the night sickness has been doing me in. I am lucky I finished my latest sewing project before being admitted for IV fluids and gravol. I was so sick and am now just starting to feel semi human. I will be sewing up a sling here soon too. Here is my most recent project. A podaegi and a matching bag for a wonderful mama.
